One Man's Trash

There is no doubt about it. Leah has a creative streak. She can look at an oatmeal can and she sees a family activity in which the can is a gong. She got a healthy dose of Aunt Trina in her genes to be sure. It has gotten to the point that anything that gets emptied (Nerd boxes, kleenex boxes, etc.) or discarded (broken blind wands, make up cases, etc.) is project potential. It goes beyond that though. She has opened a permanent store in the school room. She sells her handiwork for pennies since we refuse to pay more. She often has "haf prise" sales and gives out coupons. She gives gift receipts, allows for returns and has made bags for purchases. The next time you come over, you had better hang on to your wallet!

Alex is quite the entrepreneur too...sells any crafts and/or art she makes. Plus she has a price list for services--her business is called "Job Max" (inspiration: Office Max??).
